The Reno Rodeo Foundation is dedicated to supporting children and families across Northern Nevada through education, community programs, and strategic philanthropy. Established in 1986 to ensure proceeds from the historic Reno Rodeo directly benefit residents, the Foundation became a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2004, enabling broader fundraising and increased community impact. Guided by a Board of Trustees made up of rodeo volunteers and local leaders, the Foundation provides scholarships, grants, and endowments while spearheading major projects such as the horseback riding facility at Marvin Picollo School and the Kids’ Kampus Activity Center for children in protective custody. Today, the Foundation continues to expand partnerships and opportunities for youth throughout 14 Northern Nevada counties, remaining committed to improving lives and meeting extraordinary needs.
