Details:
Last updated in May 2020, the Long-Range Transportation Plan outlines a 20-year vision for the region’s transportation system. It focuses on preserving existing infrastructure while identifying innovative strategies to enhance mobility and expand travel options throughout the area.

Public Open House: Thursday, December 4
10:15AM-Noon | Indianola Public Library
A public open house in Indianola is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. to noon on Thursday, December 4, at the Indianola Public Library, located at 207 N B Street. The meeting will provide residents an opportunity to learn more information, ask questions and speak directly with CIRTPA officials.
Written statements will also be accepted and may be submitted to CIRTPA.

CIRTPA’s planning area includes Boone, Jasper and Marion counties, as well as parts of Dallas, Madison, Polk, Story and Warren counties not covered by the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (DMAMPO) or the Ames Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO).
CIRTPA members include the eight counties listed above and the cities of Adel, Boone, Huxley, Indianola, Knoxville, Nevada, Newton, Pella, Perry, Story City and Winterset.
